Woodgrain Door and Ormolu Knocker

Following the release of Nicola's new DVD and Gary Lord's new book featuring this design, Vigini Studios, Inc. is offering a 3 day trompe l'oeil mural workshop where students will complete a panel depicting a faux wood door and ormulu knocker, typical of traditional trompe l'oeil.

Students ask us all the time how to even begin to create a wonderful trompe l'oeil mural.  In combination with our Color Theory, Perspective and Rendering, and Classical Trompe l'Oeil workshop under the tutelage of Nicola Vigini, you can begin or advance your skills into this direction.
