Nicola Vigini, born in Italy, is a fine and decorative artist.  In Rome, he studied classical drawing and painting; later he apprenticed in restoration of 15th and 16th century frescoes.  He completed his  formal study in decorative art and design at the Institut Supérieur de Peinture Décorative in Paris, where he specialized in the traditional European techniques of mural painting, trompe l'oeil, faux bois and faux mabre.
