Artist of the Month
Tatiana Rugers

I loved art since I remember myself. I took many art classes during my student years from high school through my college years in Moscow, Russia. I obtained a masters degree in computer engineering and worked in that field for many years but I never lost my love and passion for art. I moved to the United States 15 years ago and the opportunity presented itself to me to work in the area where my true interest lies, art. Many of you would probably agree with me that even if you have talent and took many art classes, there are so much more to learn if you transition into Mural and Tromp l'Oeil art. I am very grateful to Nicola and many more wonderful artists I learned from to make this transition a beautiful and exciting experience.
I met Nicola Vigini in 2004, at one of my first SALI conventions. " The ageless beauty and authenticity of his work made me want so much to learn more from him". Nicola told me about a class he would be conducting the following year in Italy with Pascal Amblard, Pierre Finkelstein and Sean Crosby. The opportunity to learn from such masters was one I could not pass up, I eagerly signed up. It was my dream come true! I learned a lot and the experience was the most fulfilling of my art life.
